The H2A rocket No. 45, which carries the artificial satellite of the British satellite communication company "Inmarsat", is scheduled to be launched from the Tanegashima Space Center in Kagoshima Prefecture after 11:30 pm on the 22nd.



Initially, the launch was scheduled to take place on the 21st, but due to the weather, it was postponed to the 22nd.



The artificial satellite to be launched is a next-generation communication satellite with a large communication capacity, and will be operated in a geosynchronous orbit of about 36,000 km above the equator.



This is the fifth time that the H2A rocket has launched an artificial satellite or spacecraft ordered from overseas.
