Analysts: Corona reduces the life expectancy of humans

Analysts at the Royal Bank of Canada said the coronavirus pandemic is reducing life expectancy in the UK by about nine months, helping to reverse long-life trends.

And the agency "Bloomberg" news agency reported that insurance stock analysts Gordon Aitken and Mandeep Jagpal's estimates were based on statistics from the Institute and College of Actuaries, in addition to data from insurance companies.

The experts wrote in a note to clients: “There are likely to be continuous waves of corona, and a decline in the health status due to the prolonged duration of the epidemic... It is possible that there will be second-order effects such as delays in diagnosis and treatment for other diseases, and the impact of the economic slowdown is potentially harmful.”

The Royal Institute of Canada said the increase in deaths will allow life insurers to spend more of the money they've been putting aside in reserves, boosting operating profit by 7.4 billion pounds ($9.8 billion), or 16%, each year for the next five years. .

A June report by University College London epidemiologist Michael Marmot showed a 0.9-year reduction in human life expectancy across England in 2020. Meanwhile, a report in the British Medical Journal said last month that 28 Million years of human life in 2020 in the 31 countries studied.
