Princess Haja Bint al Hussein, who allegedly fled Dubai, was seen for the first time in England after having disappeared for weeks.

British media released pictures of the princess arriving at a family court in London on Tuesday.

The two-day hearing is reported to be about custody of the princess' two children.

The 45-year-old is one of six wives of the Emir of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Raschid al Maktum (69).

She is a daughter of the former Jordanian King Hussein and half-sister of the current ruler Abdullah II. According to reports, she and her two children fled to Europe from her husband because she tried to mediate in a family dispute.

It is said to have been about Sheikha Latifa, an adult daughter of the emir from another marriage.

The former had made a spectacular escape attempt in February of last year.

She is said to have tried to leave the country by jet ski and yacht.

It was finally stopped by a special unit off the Indian coast and brought back forcibly, assure supporters of Latifas.
