The area of soil erosion has been reduced at an average annual rate of 10 square kilometers. , The soil and water conservation rate will increase from 85.6% in 2005 to 94.2% in 2020. The county’s vegetation coverage and forest coverage have been maintained at 71% all year round, and the compliance rates of surface water, drinking water, and outbound water are all 100%. It was awarded the National Soil and Water Conservation Ecological Civilization County, the country's first ecological county, and the first county to win the United Nations Habitat Award.
