Spike Lee and Netflix will continue to work closely together for years to come.
According to
Variety
, the director and the streaming service have just signed a contract of "several years" (the precise duration has not been indicated) to develop new projects, carried out or produced by the filmmaker, via his company 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks.

for the platform.
“There is no better way for me and my company 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks to start the New Year than to renew our partnership with Ted, Scott and Tendo, the brave bosses of Netflix.
In addition to my films, we will be focusing together on new writers from diverse backgrounds, young people must be served, ”Spike Lee said in a statement.

The partnership between Spike Lee and Netflix kicks off in January and the next project is expected to be called
Gordon Hemingway and the Realm of Cthulhu
