On December 16, snow leopards were photographed in the winter grass field in Ulanbuluke Village, Elzaitewulu Township, Hejing County, Bayingoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang.
Snow leopards are national first-level protected wild animals. The International Union for Conservation of Nature declared them extremely endangered animals. The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and Pamir Plateau of China are the main distribution areas.
