Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is counting on the Africa-Turkey summit to restore his image.

Forty senior African officials are currently in Istanbul for the 3 rd summit of the Turkey-Africa partnership which lasts two days.

They must discuss the strengthening of cooperation on the economic, security and cultural fronts set up in recent years by Ankara.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is counting on this summit to restore his image, especially with its exporters, eager for new markets in these times of monetary crisis.
