Her favorite quote:

Surveys like the one I am doing now are part of my job;

it is true that I disturb;

my last report of articles was about the exploitation of shale gas, incredibly polluting, but which gives work to hundreds of thousands of people, enormous dividends to the states which exploit them, and the energy independence of the United States , just that !

Why this book?

  • Because this novel is an effective thriller.

    The hunt led by Philippe Peleset's henchmen is breathless, there are all the elements to keep the reader awake.

    The characters are well established, the setting of Greenland favorable to an ice western: a duel from which we do not know who will survive.

  • Because beyond the thriller, this book leads to an awareness

    of the lies of industrialists who use ecology to do business or help to do greenwashing for polluting companies or States.

    The author gives us the keys to understanding the challenges of ecology, for readers to open the doors thereafter.

  • Because Alain Neige also engages us in a reflection

    on our place on this Earth and our attachment to the living world.

    We are only a part of the sensitive world and we are linked by a common destiny.

    There is spirituality in this novel which transforms our consciousness into a deep and limitless humanism.
