On December 16, students from the No. 2 Senior Middle School in Shannan, Tibet Autonomous Region were practicing Huangmei Opera.
It is reported that in order to enrich students’ after-school life and promote cultural exchanges, Jin Huilin, the music teacher of the Anhui Province organized education aid to Tibet team, brought the “intangible cultural heritage” Huangmei Opera into the classroom for the first time, and invited local teachers to translate some of the Huangmei Opera excerpts into Tibetan. Let Tibetan children sing in Tibetan.
Shannan No. 2 Senior High School has 2,445 students, most of whom are Tibetans, accounting for 98.12% of the total number of students.
Under Jin Huilin's teaching, many students gradually fell in love with the opera culture of Huangmei.
