gathered the young artist's secrets before his second rehearsal on Friday.
He would like a place for a podium but keep in the back of his mind the desire to succeed Valentina, who gave France their first victory last year in the competition reserved for children.
You did your first rehearsal on the Eurovision Junior stage on Wednesday.
How did that happen ?
I was super relieved because I felt comfortable on this stage.
After that, it was not my best performance but I think it's normal, I was impressed, besides, there are stairs… I still have a rehearsal today, it will be better.
I need to practice knowing which camera to watch when.
But I am confident.
What can you say about the staging?
It's a setting a bit like
the Magnificent Gatsby
, in a not old but old style [which evokes the 1920s].
We tried to show the clocks a lot.
There are gold, black, white and lots of colors, it freaks out.
There will be plenty of surprises on stage.
Do you get along well with the other candidates?
We're all in the same hotel.
There is a good atmosphere and in addition, there is a table football, it's super cool!
The other candidates are super nice, we all have a passion for singing and we are happy to share that.
You who are a football fan, do you see the competition as a friendly match or are you aiming for victory?
It's like a friendly match, we're all super happy.
It's our dream come true.
It would be cool to win.
I would like to be on the podium.
But there are plenty of talented candidates with different backgrounds who also deserve to win ...
