Comedian Kim Cheol-min, who was battling lung cancer, has died.

at the age of 54.



According to the entertainment industry on the 16th, Kim Chul-min passed away at around 2 pm in the hospice ward of the Nuclear Energy Hospital, where he was hospitalized.



The deceased made his debut as an MBC comedian in 1994 and has been active as a singer and comedian.

He was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in 2019 and has been fighting the disease.



The deceased showed his strong will for life by sharing his battle with the disease through SNS, and many colleagues and netizens supported him.

He also took fenbendazole, an anthelmintic drug for animals that was claimed to have anticancer effects, but stopped taking it without seeing any effect.



The last social media post of the deceased was on the 10th.

He left a message saying, "Thank you, I was happy. Thank you. I love you."



DJ Hashima, who is an acquaintance of the deceased, commemorated the deceased by writing on SNS that day, "Heaven's heart seat. Clown Kim Chul-min" and "After a picnic, he returned to heaven. Thank you, thank you, respect and love you."



The burial place of the deceased was prepared in Room 2 of the funeral hall at the Nuclear Hospital.
