• Riding the wave of Covid-19 and teleconsultation, Talel Hakimi and his associates launched Livmed's in February 2020n an app that offers home delivery of medicines.

  • A secure concept, which allows you to choose your pharmacy, to communicate with the pharmacist if necessary and which "saves everyone time".

  • In less than a year, Livmed's has been so successful to the point of being rewarded at the Coupe de France for start-ups.

By bike, equipped with black or blue bags, we no longer need to name them, we recognize the delivery people who bring directly home the dish you want to eat. For less than a year, first in Nice then now in "all the big cities of France", new bags, this time, in pink color, have been added to the landscape. Livmed's does not deliver food, but medicine. An “innovative” idea which earned the Nice company the Marie-Curie Prize during the French Start-up Cup last week.

With this application, you no longer need to travel, "you order drugs and parapharmacy products from home, work, in a nursing home, for yourself or your grandmother.

We are delivered in 30 minutes ”, explains Talel Hakimi, the creator of the concept.

A service available every day, at any time, which guarantees "medical confidentiality", he assures us.

A race that costs 9.60 euros for a radius of 3 km, on which 4.60 euros go to the delivery man.

A concept that has "spread like the virus"

With his partners, Mehdi Matyja and Manon Renou-Chevalier, they worked in collaboration with the Order of Pharmacists. “We come from an outside world, we had to have the tools and especially the confidence of the community. Now, delivery people are carefully chosen after several missions carried out with pharmacists, which means that a large part of the 12,000 people who work for us are on permanent contracts. It is important for us to insure on this side because we deliver medicines, not pizzas. "

Launched less than a year ago with 45 partner pharmacies in Nice, Livmed's now has ten times more, with more than 100,000 users of the application. "There are 130 orders per day," says the president of the start-up. Once pharmacists were shown that the service was useful for them as well as for the patients, they became like ambassadors and the concept quickly spread, like the virus, ”he jokes.

Since the launch, the idea of the company was to be "a key player" in the digitization of pharmacies.

“There are 22,000 pharmacies in France but only 2% have a website.

In addition to the delivery, Livmed's allows pharmacies to integrate a plug into their software.

In less than 30 minutes, all their products are referenced.

The system even makes it possible to communicate with the patient if he wishes ”.

Projects that continue to develop

With a fundraising of 2 million euros, the Nice company has seduced the community, the State and still hopes to develop to complete the existing teleconsultation offer. The 24-year-old president of the start-up, a career broker, notably covets a partnership with Doctolib. One idea among others to continue to grow. After having conquered the cities, “we are trying to tackle rural areas by offering delivery in D + 1. We will also create a partnership with Afflelou to deliver the glasses once received in the store. We also have third-party payment which will soon be available [60% of mutuals are partners of the application]. "

Talel acknowledges that its application "fell rather well given the health context".

But he adds confident: “The person least able to move is the patient.

I quickly realized that it was essential because I had to go to the pharmacy every other day for my mother.

When we recognize a need, it works even after Covid-19.

Finally, it is useful in this period but also for overworked parents, for executives stuck in offices or employees with impossible schedules but especially the elderly, in addition to pharmacists ”.
