Some members of the group NCT hummed a song when they heard the warning about the earthquake that occurred in the Jeju waters, and apologized when they were criticized by many.

On the afternoon of the 14th, NCT members were conducting a comeback live broadcast 'NCT 'Universe' Countdown Live' through the YouTube NCT channel to commemorate the release of their 3rd regular album 'Universe'. An emergency disaster text message rang.

In response, the NCT members decided that the emergency text message was news related to Corona 19 and said, 'Let's be careful about Corona 19', and then they tried to move through the situation naturally. However, this text message was not the Corona 19, but a notification of a 5.3 magnitude earthquake in the waters 32km southwest of Seogwipo-si, Jeju, around 20 pm on the 14th.

Among the NCT members who received this situation from the staff, Mark, Johnny, and Doyoung hummed the song 'Earthquake' from the new album and climbed into the cubicle. Some members even tried to move, but the camera didn't even show them dancing because the other members hadtily stopped them from behind.

They immediately apologized for their rash words and actions on social media.

Mark apologized on SNS, saying, "I'm really sorry for not understanding the situation properly and showing careless and frivolous behavior.

Johnny also wrote on his SNS account, "I'm sorry for my rash actions during today's comeback live. I apologize once again to everyone who may have felt uncomfortable after seeing my actions."

Doyoung also posted on SNS, "I made a rash mistake without properly recognizing the situation in today's comeback live broadcast. I want to apologize to those who were hurt and uncomfortable because of my careless remarks." I apologize once again without any excuses. I will try my best not to repeat this kind of mistake in the future."
