He added in his interview with an episode of the "The Opposite Direction" program (12/14-2021) that normalization with Assad today means his participation in his crime against the Syrian people, who killed, hidden and displaced millions of them.

He stressed that the normalization of some Arab countries is against the will of the Syrian people, who revolted against the injustice of the Assad regime and paid a heavy bill for 11 years because it demanded its freedom.

He added that the Israeli-Arab intercourse has reached the highest level, so they seek to bury all the movements of free peoples, and they want to put the Syrian people under the fait accompli by accepting the butcher who killed them, stressing that the return of the Syrian regime means more killing, destruction, arrest and enforced disappearance.

Abdel-Majid Al-Weiss called for the necessity of supporting the Syrian revolution, which defends the honor of the nation, which was violated by this criminal regime, as he described it.

On the other hand, political analyst Muhammad Bakr said that the Arab rapprochement with Damascus is evidence of the Arab awakening, because the Arab house is not complete without Syria, and Syria's seat should not remain vacant in the Arab League, and "the Arab regimes have failed to create a unified opposition entity to confront the Assad regime. ".

He also explained the efforts of some Arab countries to restore relations with Syria, with the aim of influencing the relations between Damascus and Tehran, so that Syria would return to being Arab away from the alliance with the Iranian regime.

He believed that one of the reasons for the Arabs' return to relations with Damascus was due to the failure of the Syrian opposition to lead the stage, accusing it of being "more corrupt" than the regime against which it revolted. He also saw that the opposition's allies did not have a clear vision for managing matters.

The spokesman advised President al-Assad to give priority to the Arab dimension over the regional one, and to open up to Arab countries that want to return Syria to the Arab League.
