"Everyone is on the same starting line. I hope that (Hong Kong) young people can find their own position as they grow up, and then continue to work hard." The "Asian trapeze" Su Bingtian, who recently visited Hong Kong with a delegation of Olympic athletes from the Mainland, is in Guangdong. During the Zhuhai epidemic prevention and isolation period, he made the above remarks in a video interview with China News Service and other media.

Su Bingtian broke the Asian record in the men's 100-meter semi-finals of the Tokyo Olympics with a time of 9.83 seconds. He was applauded by fans wherever he went during his visit to Hong Kong.

During his visit to Hong Kong, Su Bingtian shared his competitive road at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and exchanged ideas with the Hong Kong Disciplinary Forces at the School of Fire and Ambulance, where he demonstrated technical movements such as short running, striding, and starting.

What impressed him most was working with members of the Hong Kong Disciplinary Service to pull fire trucks to raise funds for the Hong Kong Special Olympics.

He believes that participating in fundraising is very meaningful, and the exchange activities also show a tenacious and positive spirit.

Having communicated with Hong Kong athletes for a long time, Su Bingtian said that they are willing to discuss sprint knowledge, see training methods that mainland athletes can learn from and try boldly, which is very good for the future development of Hong Kong's track and field.

Hong Kong citizens believe that the tenacious and hard-working spirit of Olympic athletes and Hong Kong's Lion Rock spirit share the same background.

As a Cantonese, Su Bingtian is familiar with "Below the Lion Rock" sung by the well-known singer Luo Wen, and understands that the Lion Rock represents the fighting spirit of Hong Kong people.

"I dare not say that I can integrate with this kind of spirit, but the athletes are also brave to fight on the court, desperate to play their best level." He hopes that the citizens of Hong Kong can feel the athletes' spirit of winning glory for the country and fighting hard. .

In recent years, Su Bingtian has "started again" after changing his starting foot and injuries.

In recent years, Hong Kong has also encountered challenges such as the "Regulation Amendment Disturbance" and the new crown pneumonia epidemic. With the support of the central government and the joint efforts of all walks of life in Hong Kong, it has returned to the right track.

Su Bingtian expressed the hope that Hong Kong's economy will get better and better, and the housing problem that the people are concerned about can be solved.

As an associate professor of Jinan University, Su Bingtian also invited students from Hong Kong to study and exchange at Jinan University.

Regarding advice to Hong Kong youths, he said that the juvenile stage needs correct guidance.

If you can find a sense of presence, accomplishment, honor and even frustration in the process of growing up, you can quickly identify your goals.

Facing the upcoming 2022, the 32-year-old Su Bingtian said, "I hope to enjoy every next game healthy and happy." (End)
