Cole Sprouse may already have a very good career, it took him a long time to get into real estate like so many other of his colleagues in Hollywood.
At 29, the actor who first made himself known in the Disney stable with
The Palace Life of Zack and Cody
, and more recently in
Riverdale
, has just bought his first home.
He set his sights on a house with typical 1950s modernism architecture located in Hollywood Hills as revealed by Dirt.
The star did not hesitate to pay $ 2.9 million for this 230 square meter building with four bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as a beautiful swimming pool, all surrounded by lush vegetation.
The house is distinguished by a huge living room and very open spaces as well as ubiquitous woodwork.
But one of the aspects that undoubtedly seduced the actor is the rarity of this property from an architectural point of view.
It's a story
The special feature of Cole Sprouse's new home is that it was built in 1949 for Millard Kaufman, the co-creator of the cartoon character Mister Magoo.
Three renowned architects collaborated to design the plans: Richard Neutra, Alexander Ban and Josef Van der Kar.
Millard Kaufman stayed at this property for almost 50 years before selling it in 1997.
Purchased for the last time in 2016, the house has been extensively restored in the meantime, notably with the installation of a new kitchen and the renovation of the bathrooms.
Whether Cole Sprouse will stay there as long as its first owner remains to be seen.
