As the largest non-governmental exchange event between the two sides of the strait, the Straits Forum, which has been unimpeded for more than a decade, has become a bridge and platform for Taiwan’s youth to pursue their dreams.

Of course, the online conference matter, I think that actually came to Xiamen and came to the mainland. The difference is that I think it takes a personal experience to understand the rapid development of the motherland in the past few years.

  [Explanation] Many of the young people from Taiwan who came to the conference came to the mainland to live with their parents since childhood, and went back to study in Taiwan halfway through. After their academic success, most of them came to the mainland to work and start their own businesses. In their eyes, the mainland is developing rapidly. There are both challenges and better opportunities.

  I have seen the changes in the mainland and the development of the mainland, so I also told me that although I returned to Taiwan later, after I finished my studies, I still chose to come to the mainland for employment and entrepreneurship because I think I have witnessed Over the past two decades, the economic development of the mainland and all the construction, I believe that there will be better opportunities and better resources for development in the mainland, as well as better advantages.

  [Explanation] After more than half a month, the "Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement", which involves the world's most populous, largest economic and trade scale, and most development potential, will be officially implemented. How to join hands with the mainland to expand the market is a topic of general concern to the Taiwanese guests attending the conference. .

  RCEP ("Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement") actually integrates almost the entire Asia Pacific Rim region.

Opportunities are endless. There are endless opportunities for Taiwanese businessmen and Taiwanese companies in the mainland. They are facing a vast sky. Taiwan has to go through the mainland to the world. You can only reach the world through the mainland. Only Taiwan and the mainland can merge and merge. Only by being one can you truly embrace the world.

  [Explanation] This Straits Forum adopts a combination of online and offline, centralized and decentralized holding methods to carry out 56 exchange activities. The main venue is located in Xiamen, and related activities are held in the Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone of the relevant districted city in Fujian Province. .

Since its first session in 2009, the Straits Forum has become a grand non-governmental exchange event on both sides of the Taiwan Straits with the largest number of cooperative participation agencies, the largest scale of activities, the widest scope and the strongest non-governmental influence.
