  Nearly 40 cultural relics on display in this exhibition were carefully selected by the Shaoshan Comrade Mao Zedong Memorial Hall. There are important documents that Mao Zedong has corrected, books read, clothing worn, daily necessities used, letters, manuscripts, and photos.

Four of the exhibits are the most special:

  This exhibition is also unique in the design of the display form, referring to the Zhongnanhai Fengzeyuan Office and the Juxiang Bookstore, and turning the first floor of the exhibition hall into a study and office space for Comrade Mao Zedong.

An office desk is set in the middle of the exhibition hall, on which are placed stationery, books, and copies of manuscripts. The original exhibition cabinets are used to build an artificial book wall around, and the cultural relics related to Comrade Mao Zedong are embedded in it.

  The audience walked into the exhibition hall, as if they were in the working and living environment of the leaders, they could feel the details of Comrade Mao Zedong's life more intuitively and immersively, and comprehend Comrade Mao Zedong's lofty revolutionary feelings of serving the people.

  The second floor of the exhibition hall is mainly displayed in the traditional way of combining pictures and texts. It is divided into three parts: "Home for the country, full of loyalty", "Leading by example, preaching by example", "Strictly compassionate, emphasizing emotion and reasoning".

A large number of photos and letters reflect the moving light of Mao Jiaying and martyrs who are not afraid to sacrifice for the revolutionary cause, and tell about Mao Zedong’s strict self-discipline and selfless dedication in the process of leading the new democratic revolution and socialist construction, as well as his treatment of children and children.
