On December 10, the reporter learned from the press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in Manzhouli, Inner Mongolia, that as of 14:00 on December 10, 2021, the traceability group has carried out an epidemiological investigation of 512 confirmed cases in Manzhouli.

  The characteristics of the epidemic present a wide range of aspects; the clusters of cases in families, communities, and work and learning places are obvious; the symptoms of the cases are atypical and the onset of disease is hidden.

  It is understood that the cases involved 120 communities and places, showing the characteristics of widespread distribution in streets and communities.

Case occupations involve students, workers, housework and unemployed, business services, teachers, cadres and staff, retired personnel and other groups of people.

Infected persons have been further infected by family members, friends, colleagues, classmates, and other members of the community through family gatherings, social activities, work and study and other channels.

In the initial stage of the onset of cases, 52% of the cases had no obvious clinical symptoms, and those with clinical symptoms were mainly flu-like symptoms such as cough, fever, sore throat, nasal congestion, and runny nose.
