The Mito District Court is trying to impose responsibility on acquaintances without showing remorse for a Vietnamese agricultural trainee who was accused of murdering a couple in their 70s in a house in Yachiyo Town, Ibaraki Prefecture. I was sentenced to 27 years in prison.

Nguyen Din Hai, a 23-year-old Vietnamese agricultural trainee, invaded a house in Yachiyo-cho, Ibaraki Prefecture in August, and stabbed and killed Isao Osato (76 at the time), who lives in this house. He was also charged with murder and attempted murder for injuring his 76-year-old wife.

At the trial, the defendant pleaded not guilty, saying, "There is another criminal," while the prosecution was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

In the ruling on the 10th, Judge Kyota Nakajima of the Mito District Court found many footprints of the defendant on the scene, but found no trace of the person who the defendant claims to be the true criminal, and the statements are inconsistent. The defendant was found to be the criminal because of unnatural things.

He then sentenced him to 27 years in prison, saying, "It seems that the victim who was unreasonably deprived of his life was regrettable. He is trying to impose responsibility on his acquaintance without showing an attitude of remorse."

After the trial, the defendant's lawyer stated that he had "no objection to our allegations" and made it clear that he had appealed.
