Before dawn on the 11th, a fire broke out in Fukagawa, Hokkaido, and two people were found dead.

Police are confirming that the person who died is a parent and child in their 80s and 50s who live in this house.

Before 2:00 am on the 11th, a neighbor reported to the fire department that a fire had broke out from the house of Mr. Nobuhiko Hizuka (59) in Fukagawa-cho, Fukagawa-shi, Hokkaido.



Nine fire trucks came out and the fire was extinguished about three hours later, but the fire burned down a two-story wooden house and two people were found dead in the burnt remains.



According to police, Mr. Koizuka and his 84-year-old mother live in this house, and after the fire, they have lost contact with them.



The police are investigating the cause of the fire while confirming that these two people died.



The site is an area where houses are scattered in a field about 2.8 km southeast of Chippubetsu Station on the JR Rumoi Line.
