Lena Situations has no other choice but to quit Twitter.

The influencer, harassed on social networks for several weeks, announced her decision on Thursday, on Instagram, another network.

In a story, the Internet star confided that the messages she constantly receives in recent months (last bad buzz to date, her haircut during a walk in the United States) have undermined her morale.

"I've always been super comfortable naturally, but I'm not going to lie to you that over time it gets into my head and it destroys my personal confidence little by little," she wrote.

A cyber harassment which forces her today to make this drastic decision.

“I wasted too much time looking at what zozos are saying about me and LAUNCHING my hair lol.

Time which I much prefer to use for making cool videos, ”she added.

Still standing

No worries for Lena Mahfouf, her real name: she is still followed by 3.4 million people on Instagram and more than 2 million on YouTube, where she still regularly posts videos on her daily life.

While most of the comments are benevolent, the network star was forced to admit that malicious messages, even in the minority, were the ones that had the most consequences for his mental health.

“I can't control what people think and say about me, but I can control the impact it has on me,” she concluded in her story.

And to give advice to his "community" to better understand the Internet: "I think of all the people who are harassed but who do not have the same media coverage that I can have.

Let's give them love.

Pay attention to yourself on the internet, don't think it's trivial to insult others.

Protect yourself from networks, it's not all positive on the Internet ”.
