The Nicolas-Fouquet college in Mormant is the first college in Seine-et-Marne to be equipped with an anti-bullying letterbox.

The latter was set up on November 29 by the association Les Papillons, which fights against physical or online harassment, racketeering and educational violence.

It was installed near the entrance hall and school life, reports

.

Student victims can discreetly leave a letter with a description of their situation, their name and first name in order to be contacted again.

Other mailboxes to come

The messages are collected twice a week and sent to psychologists, educators and lawyers grouped together in an analysis center.

Solutions can then be provided, individually or collectively, for example by involving the whole establishment.

The unit for collecting worrying information, authorized to lodge a complaint, can be contacted in the most serious cases.

The department of Seine-et-Marne and the community of municipalities have assured that other mailboxes will soon be installed in extracurricular and leisure centers, as well as in other establishments.
