[Explanation] In the class of Teacher Yang Xiaoqin of Taiyuan Open University for the Elderly, the students' concentration and earnestness are surprising. What she teaches is smartphone class, and her students are all elderly people who hope to catch up with the intelligent age.

Before 2015, Yang Xiaoqin had been teaching computer classes.

At the end of 2015, Taiyuan Open University for the Elderly was planning to establish a college for the elderly. Considering that there are obstacles to the use of smart phones for the elderly, the school decided to open a smart phone course with Yang Xiaoqin, who graduated with a major in computer science, as the teacher.

When I first got this class, in fact, I was also a question mark at one end and a silly circle at the other end.

Because I made a phone call to a well-known university for the elderly in the country, I found that everyone was teaching computer classes and computer classes, and no one was teaching mobile phones.

Later, I thought about where did the smart phone start with the question mark after I took the phone.

Then think about it again, the old people around, such as our parents, when they use their mobile phones, where they start to have problems, and then add some new content bit by bit.

[Explanation] In March 2016, after a series of preparations, Yang Xiaoqin started the first smartphone class for the elderly in Shanxi Province.

Since then, she has compiled a series of syllabus, micro-classes and other content, and in 2017 compiled the textbook for the elderly smartphone class.

Taiyuan Open University for the Elderly divides the smartphone class into three classes: elementary, intermediate, and advanced.

For the elementary class, for example, we must first introduce one. For example, in the first class, we will introduce what is a smart phone.

There is also a gesture, an operation of mobile phone gestures.

For example, what is single click, what is long press, such as camera, weather forecast, flashlight, calculator, calendar, we will talk about these.

So we will take WeChat as an example to download the software, and then start to sort out all the functions of our WeChat around this point.

Intermediate classes, for example, we will introduce map navigation, order food, shopping, and then book hotels, air tickets, train tickets, and mobile banking.

And of course, in this area, we will also emphasize the safety of our payment, and then including our National Anti-fraud Center APP will also introduce to our elderly friends.

In the advanced class, for example, we will introduce how to use Baidu Cloud, such as our VR virtual reality technology, we teach you how to use your mobile phone to browse some of our online attractions.

[Explanation] In class, one of the things that impressed Yang Xiaoqin the most was the intermediate class learning "how to order food via mobile phone" course.

When we were talking about ordering takeaways, as soon as I finished speaking, our uncle said, Teacher Yang, let’s take takeaways into class after a while.

Didn't we end get out of class at 11 o'clock, and then the takeaways really came in before 11 o'clock.

Then everyone looked around the takeaway and looked at it in amazement, saying it was here?

Older people find it very novel.

And the key is that the takeaway amount is still very cheap. It cost 6 yuan and 8 cents, and a steak takeaway came over. Because the uncle is a new user, he also has coupons, so he can make it so cheap.

Then some of the uncles and aunts ordered home delivery, and some ordered them to the classroom.

[Explanation] The smart phone courses of Taiyuan Open University for the Elderly are divided into five types of online and offline courses, such as face-to-face lectures, radio broadcasting courses, webcast courses, self-media courses, and study tours.

Up to now, nearly 500 senior citizens have participated in face-to-face lessons, and more than 68,000 people have participated in smartphone courses online and offline.

In particular, I did not think that they are the most serious students in the learning group, and they are active learning, they are not forced to learn, they are active learning, they can be said to be a model of lifelong learning.

Then I also appealed to more young people to understand our parents, to understand our elderly, and to have more patience and care for them.

Because each of us will get old, it means that one day when we get old, maybe we may also learn the programming principles of artificial intelligence in the university for the elderly, right?

We also have such obstacles.

So we still have the same sentence, old and old, and old people.
