It was to take place this Thursday evening… The city of Mulhouse, which was planning a night for its Christmas market with entertainment until 9 pm, had to cancel.

Obviously the health situation is involved.

In a press release on its website, the city indicates that this situation "is imperative" because it wishes "to maintain the greatest vigilance and anticipate any points of difficulty which could weaken the smooth running" of its Christmas market.

Clearly, do not compromise the whole event for one evening.

The Christmas market will therefore close at 8 p.m., as usual on Thursdays.

The other opening hours remain unchanged (Sunday to Thursday at 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 9 p.m.).

On the other hand, given the rapid deterioration of the health situation, "at the request of the prefect of Haut-Rhin" specifies the city, the police are strengthening controls to ensure compliance with barrier gestures.
