A former employee arrested for injecting air into the body of a resident at a facility for the elderly in Koga City, Ibaraki Prefecture, was qualified as a nurse and was investigated for having worked at a hospital for more than three years. I found out by interviewing the people concerned.

The police are investigating the details of the suspicion that the case was suspected based on their specialized knowledge and experience.

Megumi Akama, a 35-year-old unemployed beauty suspect in Koga City, Ibaraki Prefecture, injected air into the blood vessels of a resident, Setsuji Yoshida (76), at the Long-Term Care Health Facility in Koga City, where she was working at the time last July. He was arrested on the 8th on suspicion of murder for murder.

The suspect worked as a long-term care worker at this facility, but according to investigators, he obtained a qualification as a nurse 15 years ago, and before the incident, he was a total of 3 at hospitals in Saitama and Tochigi prefectures. It means that he worked as a nurse for more than a year.

According to the investigation so far, it is believed that the tube of the syringe called "syringe" was connected to Mr. Yoshida's IV tube lying on the bed, and the police have specialized knowledge as a nurse. Based on my experience, I suspect that I have infused a lethal dose of air, and I am investigating the details.

Police have not disclosed their approval or disapproval, saying it would interfere with the investigation.

Who knows the victim ...

The woman who lived near the house of Mr. Setsuji Yoshida (76) who was murdered said, "I was a kind and serious person. I am not a person who is involved in the incident, and I wonder why he is Mr. Yoshida. I am worried that such an incident will occur because I will be entering a facility for the elderly. "
