Amid the controversy over the sensationalism of the condom-printed shirt worn by group BTS member J-Hope, the atmosphere was reversed as the hidden meaning of the shirt became known.

On the 8th, J-Hope posted a picture of himself wearing a shirt with a pattern reminiscent of a condom on his Instagram. Some netizens pointed out the sensationalism, saying, "There are many teenage fans, so I should have worn a condom-printed T-shirt."

But this shirt had a hidden meaning. According to foreign media, the shirt was created by 'Pleasures', a brand launched by American designer Alex James, and British retailer END to emphasize correct birth control.

Through the official website of END, "We have printed various graphics and patterns created under the theme of correct contraception on the product," and "the meaning of supporting safe, positive and responsible sex."

When this fact became known, fans were surprised, saying, "There was a reason why I posted a photo of me wearing this shirt on social media" and "Thanks to J-Hope, I found out about a campaign with a good purpose."

In the past, J-Hope has shown influence and conveyed a message through clothes. It became a topic of discussion by including a photo wearing a 'freevolt' product in the season greeting released in November last year. Freevolt is known to use the proceeds to help underprivileged children and people with disabilities around the world.

In October 2019, fashion magazine 'W Korea' posted a photo of a T-shirt made to improve breast cancer awareness on Twitter. He also published two works.

J-Hope is the 146th member of the Green Noble Club, a group of major donors over 100 million won of the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation.

The donation amount known so far alone is said to be over 700 million won.
