For the first time in over 13 years, Britney Spears will be able to make financial decisions on her own.

It is the justice of Los Angeles which has just granted to the popstar the right to manage its heritage, during the first hearing since the announcement of the end of the tutelage of the interpreter of

.

Until now, it was her father, Jamie Spears, legal guardian, who had decided everything for her daughter, and this since the public nervous breakdown which had forced her to accept this procedure of guardianship which has ended up poisoning his life.

This is therefore the first step in Britney Spears taking charge of her business.

Turn on the light

In a statement after the hearing, the singer's lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, quoted by Deadline, announced that he believed that Tri-Star, the company that ran the star's affairs with Jamie Spears, could have "made disappear" part of the heritage of the singer.

Britney Spears' advice has therefore announced that it will do everything to ensure that the father of his client is questioned about his decisions during the period he was legal guardian of the artist.

Mathew Rosengart also suggests that Jamie Spears would have something to reproach himself with, since according to him, he twice refused to be heard by the courts, and that he will probably have to file a motion to force him to introduce themselves.

The next stage of the 2021 judicial soap opera will therefore continue in 2022, on January 19 to be precise, for a new hearing.
