At the workshop of Mr. Shoichi Yano in the city, the making of tiger figurines is at its peak, named after the "tiger" of the zodiac next year.
First, when clay was pushed into a plaster mold to form a tiger, Mr. Yano used a stick to sharpen the surface one by one to express the fur.
The figurine is dried in the sun, colored and baked in a kiln, and is completed in about two weeks.
The finished figurine has a different facial expression and coat of tiger, giving it a tasteful finish.
Mr. Yano said, "I like tigers because they are brave animals in the um. It expresses only the sword with fangs. It is a difficult time in Corona, but I want to make it a strong year like a tiger." rice field.
