Faced with the fifth meteoric wave of the Covid-19 epidemic, the white plan was launched in hospitals in Haut-Rhin on December 1.

The Mulhouse and South-Alsace regional hospital group (GHRMSA) has announced new measures to preserve patient safety, Haut-Rhin news reports.

Limited visits to pediatrics and maternity hospitals

Thus, since Friday, visits have been prohibited in all GHRMSA hospitals (except for an exceptional exemption from the department head), within the medical and surgical departments.

In maternity wards, only spouses of patients are allowed.

Pediatric services are only accessible to parents of hospitalized children.

People arriving for consultations cannot be accompanied (except in special cases).

Finally, visits to nursing homes, long-term care units (USLD) and specialized reception homes (MAS) are authorized under certain conditions.
