On December 8, the farewell ceremony for the remains of Cai Xiaodong, a border drug hero and immigration police officer, was held at Splash Plaza, Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Yunnan Province. People from all walks of life went to see off.
Before Cai Xiaodong sacrificed his life, he was the deputy captain of the law enforcement investigation team of the Xishuangbanna Border Management Detachment of Yunnan Entry-Exit Border Inspection Station.
On December 4, while arresting drug dealers on the front line of the border, he fought desperately with gun drug dealers. He was seriously injured and died heroically after the rescue failed.
