China News Service, Beijing, December 8th, title: Wanted criminals as "chess pieces" expose the hypocrisy of the US "Democracy Summit"

The US uses democracy issues to interfere in Hong Kong affairs and China's internal affairs. This is another example.

Luo Guancong, an anti-China chaos in Hong Kong wanted by the Hong Kong police, recently claimed that he was invited by the President of the United States to deliver a speech at the so-called "Democracy Summit" in the United States.

This wanted criminal, regarded as a "chess piece" by anti-China forces, was invited to "cooperate with the show," which once again revealed that the so-called US summit was not for true democracy, but interfered in the internal affairs of other countries in a way that blasphemed democracy and the law.

As the backbone of the former "Hong Kong Independence" organization "Hong Kong All Wills", Luo Guancong has linked up with the United States and the West many times since 2019, advocating "Hong Kong independence" in Hong Kong, and slander the central government and the SAR government.

Before the Hong Kong National Security Law came into effect, he fled overseas in fear of crime and continued to publish anti-China and Hong Kong remarks on social platforms, harming the interests of Hong Kong and the country.

The Secretary for Security of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Tang Pingqiang, recently issued an article stating that Luo Guancong had turned his back on Hong Kong and acted ashamed.

He has repeatedly made hate speeches, inciting the public to hate the central government and the SAR government, fully exposing his sinister intentions.

He has made more remarks inciting the secession of the country and subverting state power, suspected of violating the Hong Kong National Security Law, and his actions are despicable.

Any country or region that believes in the rule of law, like Luo Guancong who advocates separatism and harms national interests, can never become the so-called "democracy spokesperson."

As a "pawn" of the anti-China forces in the United States and the West, Luo Guancong is absolutely not qualified to speak on behalf of the people of Hong Kong.

The United States, a self-proclaimed "guardian of democracy and human rights," has been stigmatized on democratic issues in recent years.

Domestically, U.S. racism is deeply rooted, and there have been reports that blacks have been unfairly treated by white police. Overseas, U.S. forces have launched wars and military operations in Afghanistan, Libya, Iraq, Syria and other countries, causing hundreds of thousands of lives to be lost. Tens of millions of people have been displaced.

Under the so-called banner of American democracy, it is domestic inequality and the wives of innocent people in some countries.

According to a survey report, 52% of young Americans believe that American democracy has long failed, 81% of Americans believe that American democracy is facing serious domestic threats, and only 17% of Americans believe that American "democracy" is worthy of emulation.

Faced with the facts, people can't help but question whether a country like the United States that ignores democracy is qualified to hold a summit in the name of "democracy"?

Even the domestic people do not trust the government's so-called democratic policies, the US still insists on going its own way and moving against the current. It attempts to instrument and weaponize democracy, advance geostrategy, and maintain its so-called advantages by tearing apart the international community. The status purpose is fully exposed.

The international community should be highly vigilant about this.

Observers believe that the US farce that goes against the true meaning of democracy will only make it clear to more people that it interferes in the internal affairs of other countries through democratic issues.

No matter how the US packs or conceals it, people who believe in rationality will not be deceived.
