Travis Scott would like his name to disappear from several proceedings against him.

The rapper is indeed at the heart of the vast majority of the 300 complaints filed after the death of 10 people during the Astroworld festival, while he was on stage.

According to

Rolling Stone

, the star's lawyers believe he cannot be held legally responsible for the mob movement which also left hundreds injured at the start of his set.

In total, so far, lawyers for Travis Scott have denied the allegations against the star in as many as 11 complaints, and if his advice is to be believed, he is set to do so for many of the other lawsuits hanging over him.

Ongoing investigation

At the same time, Houston Police investigators continue to investigate the tragic circumstances that led to the deaths of 10 people, the youngest of whom was a boy just nine years old.

Several families of victims, for their part, refused Travis Scott's offer to pay for the funeral, even though the rapper had specified that accepting this financial contribution would not prevent them from going to the end of the legal process.

In an interview with

Rolling Stone

, the lawyer for John Hillgert's family, 14, explained why she turned down the proposal from Travis Scott's team.

“It wasn't an offer the Hilgerts were going to seriously consider.

Of all the things in this matter, this is the least of their worries.

This family is determined to make a difference and make sure that never happens again at a concert, ”said Richard Mithoff, the family council.
