The 'National Singer' side acknowledged some of the controversy over fraudulent voting and promised to prevent a recurrence.

On the 7th, Coupang Play, which conducts the voting for TV Chosun's 'National Singer Tomorrow' (hereinafter referred to as the national singer), said, "As a result of confirmation, less than 1% of all votes by December 3 were illegal accounts created using false information. It was judged that the vote was made redundantly.”

However, the company explained, "In consultation with TV Chosun, we corrected the existing vote count and confirmed that the duplicate voting history did not affect the participant ranking and winning decision."

He continued, "The act of duplicating voting through illegal methods is a serious offense that deceives the cast, crew, and good viewers of 'National Singer'. We take this situation very seriously. We are also seriously considering filing a complaint with an investigative agency.”

The suspicion of fraudulent voting by 'National Singer' was sparked when it was revealed that one person was using multiple votes up to 250 votes by exploiting the fact that some viewers could create 10 accounts a day. One participant's fan cafe also issued an apology, acknowledging that "we found out that some fans participated in fraudulent voting."
