Kotohiragu Shrine in Kotohira-cho is known by the nickname of "Konpira-san," and many people visit it every year on the third day.

On the 7th, the appearance of praying for New Year's lucky charms such as the votive tablet with the "tiger" of the next year's zodiac and the arrow that bestows happiness called "Saisakiya" was released at the main shrine. ..



The priest gave a congratulatory message to pray for the end of the new coronavirus and the health of the visitors, and shook golden coins to pay the injuries.



The period of the first visit to Kotohiragu Shrine is until February 1st of the Lunar New Year, and the awarding of lucky charms for praying will begin on the 18th of this month.
