Why are industrial and commercial real estate excluded from exhibitions

The local real estate sector witnesses annually the two largest real estate exhibitions in the region, namely "Cityscape Global" and the International Property Show.

If we collect the number of courses hosted by the sector for these two events since their inception until the current year, we will find approximately 37 courses.

Over the course of those 37 cycles, at a rate of two cycles per year, we have never heard or seen of any cycle of them, allocating a special pavilion for industrial or commercial real estate, or even displaying and circulating them directly within the group of other real estate to visitors, especially these years in which the government pays great attention For the industrial sector and for the investment environment in general, and if it is presented, it is presented in an indirect way and its voice is not heard!

Apart from the conferences and events of the industrial and commercial sectors that Dubai hosts every year, real estate exhibitions are supposed to support this trend and are not limited to residential real estate, as real estate investment is not limited to residential real estate, commercial real estate, industrial real estate and even agricultural real estate, all of which are part of the investment system The comprehensive real estate sector that falls under the umbrella of the real estate sector, and each of these types of real estate has its contributions in revitalizing and expanding the investment environment.

How is it not to allocate even a small part of the real estate exhibition space to display industrial real estate, such as factory units, warehouses and workers housing, and commercial real estate as well as offices and retail spaces, and the same idea applies to conferences and discussion sessions that accompany exhibitions, why is the future of residential real estate and the opportunities available in it always discussed? Are industrial and commercial real estate exempted from this?

If it is not possible to display these properties on exhibition platforms, then I think that it is not possible for those in charge of them to include them as topics for discussion in dialogue sessions and conferences, because of their importance in the investment equation of the real estate sector.

If the matter is achieved and one of the two ideas is employed during real estate exhibitions (direct presentation on platforms or topics for discussion), this will contribute to providing more information about industrial and commercial real estate in the market, which in fact is still suffering from a lack of information compared to residential real estate, and will contribute to expanding the circle of opportunities The real estate investment sought by the exhibitions.

On the other hand, this step will introduce the local industrial zones, which will reflect on their profitability in the future. This estimate may not be correct, but there is complete confidence that this step will add value to the activity of the industrial, commercial and business sectors, and will open new investment opportunities for visitors to real estate exhibitions to The aspect of investing in residential real estate.

Diversifying the products displayed in real estate exhibitions and the discussions in them is one of the steps that these exhibitions can deviate from the usual circle that the visitor is accustomed to, especially in light of the current developments that witnessed the development of the “Dubai RETech” platform and the service of the commercial real estate price index, and the new developments that I discussed Industry and Manufacturing Summit, finally, to support the industrial sector.
