At Takasakiyama Natural Zoo in Oita City, a popularity vote is held every year at this time of year under the title of "Selection General Election" to have visitors choose their favorite monkeys.



On the 6th, in order to decide which monkeys to enter, "Junglefowl", who was the first female monkey to stand at the top of the herd, and other male monkeys held a lottery.

After displaying posters of multiple monkeys with peanuts hanging at the same time, 10 monkeys were selected for each of the "good-looking monkey category" and "popular monkey category".



This means that "Amabie" and "Popular colander division" of baby monkeys born in May include "Charlotte" aiming for the fifth peak.



A woman in her thirties who visited from Fukuoka Prefecture said, "Women are advancing in the world of monkeys. I would like to vote because the novel selection method was interesting."



Mr. Satoshi Kimoto of Takasakiyama Natural Zoo said, "It's a corona sickness, but I want you to find your favorite one and vote for it because it is healed by monkeys."



Voting will be accepted in the park and on the website from the 18th of this month to the 17th of next month.
