Yangfu Hospital was established in 1988 and currently has nearly 1,300 approved beds. The average age of the elderly in the hospital is 88.6 years old, and the elderly with dementia and disability account for 80%.

Suddenly, she found Ms. Fan's mother lying motionless on the bed, her face pale and breathing hard.

However, in the view of Fu Huifang, a nursing worker born in the 90s, her job is unpretentious but full of meaning.
"Although my daily work is in the eyes of many people to take care of the elderly to eat and drink, but I never feel that this job is worthless." The reason why I chose the nursing care major is because Fu Huifang was brought up by her grandparents since she was a child. As they age, I hope I can do a solid job to repay them.
In 2011, she entered Yangfu Hospital and became a first-line caregiver.
However, it is not easy to apply professional knowledge to practical operations. "Treat the elderly like relatives, worry about what the elderly worry about, and think about what the elderly think" has become her creed in caring for the elderly.
Fu Huifang remembered that once she found that Grandma Wang, who had just been admitted to the hospital, was depressed and unsure, and she looked out the window from time to time.
She knows that Grandma Wang is still not used to the new environment and will inevitably be sad. Only when grandma can be integrated into the big family as soon as possible can she have a sense of belonging.

Another "post-95" nurse, Wang Cheng, has also undergone transformation. He described himself as a "stunned young man" at the beginning. Now, he ranks among the best in the city's senior care professional skills competition.
He came to Yangfuyuan since his internship. At that time, a grandfather was very happy: “It’s been a long time since I chatted with young people. In 2013, Yangfu Institute launched a mid-level competition throughout the hospital. Therefore, Fu Huifang moved from a primary care worker to a nursing management position to assist Yangfu Institute to strengthen scientific management and improve service efficiency.
Because of her outstanding work, she was successively awarded the Shanghai May 1st Labor Medal and the honorary title of Shanghai Model Worker (Advanced Worker).
Ten years of experience has given Fu Huifang a deeper understanding of the elderly care industry. She said, "In order to have a better quality of elderly care services when we get old, I feel that my work is full of value."
