Charlie Cox played Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil, from 2015 to 2018 in the superhero series on Netflix.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has confirmed that the actor will join the MCU and reprise his role as Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil.

“If you were to see Daredevil in the next movies, Charlie Cox, yes, would be the actor playing Daredevil,” Kevin Feige told CinemaBlend.

"Where we will see it, how we will see it, when we will see it, that remains to be seen," he continued.

Marvel Studios had to wait two years after the series was canceled on Netflix before portraying the hero in one of the MCU's productions.

The timing of Charlie Cox's appearance therefore makes sense, given that Netflix's film and television rights to the Daredevil franchise expired last year.
