Alec Baldwin's main Twitter account has vanished.
The actor, who has multiple profiles on the network but was active on the certified account @AlecBaldwin, disappeared overnight, without giving a reason.
This is the account that the
Rust
star
had used for his first statements after the drama that claimed the life of Halyna Hutchins, the director of photography, on the set of the western.
Contacted by Deadline, neither the actor's agents nor the actor himself reacted or wanted to give an explanation.
However, this is not the first time that Alec Baldwin has cut ties with his fans on social networks.
He had already eclipsed last year at the time of the controversy over the Hispanic origins of his wife Hilaria.
Exit interview
It is also unclear whether the disappearance of Alec Baldwin is linked to his interview for ABC with journalist George Stephanopoulos.
In the interview, the star explained that he did not feel responsible for the accident and that he had "no idea" why a real bullet had ended up on the set.
He also claimed that he had not pulled the trigger when the fatal blow was fired.
Another account certified as belonging to Alec Baldwin still exists on Twitter, although it is rarely used.
