China News Service, Manzhouli, December 5 (Reporter Zhang Wei) On the 5th, Manzhouli, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region held a press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, stating that 5 new confirmed cases were confirmed in Manzhouli from 0:00 to 14:00 on December 5 , 47 positive cases have been detected in the seventh round of large-scale nucleic acid testing.
Song Jixiang, deputy mayor of Manzhouli City Government, introduced that up to now, Manzhouli City has reported a total of 332 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia and 3 cases of asymptomatic infection.
Among the newly confirmed cases, 4 cases were positive in the nucleic acid test during the home quarantine, and 1 case was positive in the large-scale nucleic acid test.
After consultation with the expert group, it was diagnosed as a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia.
Circulation work is ongoing. As of 14:00 on December 5, Manzhouli has investigated 9,229 close contacts and 3405 close contacts.
At present, Manzhouli has carried out the "clearing" operation of unisolated and close contacts.
Implement special vehicles, physical isolation, full protection, strict disinfection and other measures, and carry out safe, stable, and orderly centralized isolation and transportation of some close contacts in different places.
Song Jixiang stated that since December 2, Manzhouli has transferred 5,948 close contacts to designated isolation sites in Hulunbuir in three batches.
"Today, the fourth batch will continue to be transferred, and 1,000 people are planned to be transferred to ensure that all close contacts'should be separated from each other' and social close contacts'cleared'."
As of 14:00 on December 5, a total of 183,831 samples have been collected in the seventh round of large-scale nucleic acid testing. 47 positive cases have been detected, 9 have been confirmed, and others are subject to clinical review.
At 8 o'clock on December 5, Manzhouli City launched the eighth round of large-scale nucleic acid testing.
As of 14:00 on that day, 165,395 samples had been collected.
At present, sampling work is being carried out in an orderly manner.
According to Song Jixiang, from 8 o'clock on December 5th, Manzhouli City will carry out the "clearing of numbers, clearing of nucleic acids, and clearing of close connections". Regional personnel conducted a dragnet investigation to thoroughly find out the number of personnel in the city, the situation of nucleic acid testing, and the situation of close contacts in society.
