In the context of the nation’s celebrations of the fiftieth anniversary of the Union, and preparing for the next 50, we recall the lessons of the noble Prophet’s guidance, and the early stage of the establishment of the Islamic state, which emphasizes the importance of uniting ranks in the face of dangers and challenges. The title of today’s article belongs to an Arab proverb that is narrated on the authority of the well-known Arab sage “Aktham bin Al-Saifi Al-Tamimi.” When he sensed that his death was near and his death was near, he ordered his sons to bring each of them a bundle of sticks, asking each of them to break it into small, scattered pieces, but the strongest of them were unable to To break the bundle together, then the father took the bundle of sticks and separated them from some of them, then he put them in front of his sons and asked to break them separately, so they took the matter easy and broke them without any effort. I chant:

Be all of you, my son. If you get injured.. sermons and do not separate as one.. the sticks refuse if they come together to break.. and if they separate, you break as one.

The models of power resulting from unity are not limited to states, such as the Islamic state throughout history, the Union of Soviet Republics, the United States of America, or in our contemporary history the European Union, and the United Arab Emirates. The hadith confirmed the demise of small entities and the emergence of major global entities. The law of survival depends on rules, the most important of which are integration and union, according to the lessons of history and the rules of logic.

In the models of economic entities in banks and others, we find that small banks, when competition intensifies or at the slightest financial shock, witness demise or are swallowed up by larger entities through merger or acquisition, which is what we have seen in many cases, and what our local markets witnessed from forcing the legislatures For some banks to merge into a joint entity, to avoid similar risks.

The adoption by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, while presiding over the meeting of ADNOC's Board of Directors at the UAE National Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, ADNOC's new strategy, It aims to take advantage of growth and development opportunities in the fields of renewable energy, hydrogen and other low-carbon fuels, and then launch a strategic partnership between giant national entities (ADNOC, Mubadala and TAQA), with the aim of enhancing the country’s efforts in the areas of energy transition and achieving climate neutrality by 2050. Under this agreement, ADNOC and TAQA purchased part of the Mubadala share in Masdar, to subsequently merge the various initiatives and projects of the three relevant national entities in the fields of renewable and clean energy under the umbrella of the world's leading national name in the field of energy. Renewable source.

The advantages of this partnership are not limited to enhancing the growth opportunities of the national renewable energy giant and expanding locally, regionally and globally, but also giving a lesson on the principles of giving priority to the general national interest over local competitiveness. Whether in the pivotal role in global energy security, or as a distinct model in adopting, applying and developing renewable energy technologies and applications, especially hydrogen, to achieve a comprehensive transformation, not only in energy sources or applications, but also with the thinking of those in charge of this national industry, and consolidating the possibilities of preserving the most important gains Motherland.

This model of national integration and partnerships is a colossal step, a lesson and a lesson in the principles and rules of building and sustainable growth. We look forward to adopting it and following its example.. “Unity is strength.”
