On December 5, 1891, the Soviet artist, sculptor and photographer Alexander Rodchenko was born. He became widely famous, among other things, thanks to bright propaganda posters and active use of photomontage. Today Rodchenko is known as the founder of Soviet design and one of the “fathers” of Soviet constructivism. In 1925, the artist was engaged in the design of the USSR pavilion at the famous World Exhibition in Paris.
