  China News Service, Hong Kong, December 4th. On December 4, a delegation of Olympic athletes from the Mainland visited the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (Hong Kong Liaison Office).

Luo Huining, director of the Liaison Office of the Hong Kong Central Committee, said in his welcome speech that the delegation overcame the impact of the epidemic and visited Hong Kong as scheduled, reflecting the central government’s concern for Hong Kong citizens, especially young people.

  Luo Huining said that for many years, sports people have used their outstanding efforts to promote and witness the progress of the country's prosperity and national rejuvenation.

I would like to pay tribute to the Olympic athletes for renewing their national prestige in the Tokyo arena, and express gratitude to the Olympic athletes for their wonderful performances for the citizens in Hong Kong.

  In his speech, Yang Ning, head of the delegation and deputy director of the State Sports General Administration, expressed his gratitude to people from all walks of life in Hong Kong for their long-term care and support for sports in the Mainland and sports cooperation between the two places.

The delegation's trip is to tell the story of Chinese Olympic athletes who have graced the country, showcase the youthful power of Chinese youth in the new era, and vividly interpret the Olympic spirit and Chinese sports spirit.
