"Very large avalanches could occur" and "threaten mountain infrastructure and sometimes medium altitude roads", especially "from mid-day Sunday and at least until Monday morning" at 7 am, according to Meteo France.

"The avalanche activity expected on this episode is observed on average once every five years," she further notes.
