Sino-Singapore Jingwei, December 3, US Eastern time on Thursday, the three major US stock indexes collectively closed up.

As of the close, the Dow rose 617.75 points, or 1.82%, to 34,639.79; the Nasdaq rose 127.27 points, or 0.83%, to 15,381.32; the S&P 500 index rose 64.06 points, or 1.42%, to 4,577.10.

  Most large technology stocks fell. Apple fell 0.61%, Amazon fell 0.18%, Netflix fell 0.21%, Google rose 1.36%, Facebook fell 0.07%, and Microsoft fell 0.18%.

  Anti-epidemic stocks generally fell. Novavax Pharmaceuticals fell nearly 16%, Pfizer fell more than 3%, and Moderna fell nearly 3%.

  Chip stocks rose, with Nvidia rising 2.2% and Intel rising 1.85%.

  Bank stocks rose collectively. JPMorgan Chase rose 2.12%, Goldman Sachs rose 2.96%, Citigroup rose 2.1%, Morgan Stanley rose 3.77%, Bank of America rose 2.89%, and Wells Fargo rose 3.66%.

  Energy stocks rose collectively, Exxon Mobil rose 2.43%, Chevron rose 2.7%, ConocoPhillips rose 2.96%, Schlumberger rose 3.35%, and Occidental Petroleum rose 2.42%.

  Aviation stocks rose collectively. Boeing rose 7.57%. On the news, the Civil Aviation Administration of China issued a Boeing 737MAX airworthiness instruction.

American Airlines rose 7%, Delta Airlines rose 9.33%, Southwest Airlines rose 6.58%, and United Airlines rose 6.61%.

  Popular Chinese concept stocks generally fell, Qutoutiao fell 21.35%, Secoo fell 13.56%, Yihang Smart fell 13.53%, Aurora fell 13.49%, Daquan Energy fell 11.6%, Bilibili fell 5.4%, Pinduoduo fell 4.56 %, JD fell 0.85%, Alibaba fell 0.48%. In terms of gains, Yunji rose 11.85%, Bright Scholar rose 7.87%, China Everbright Water rose 5.17%, Wunong Technology rose 5.09%, Vipshop rose 5.07%, Baidu Up 0.09%.

New energy auto stocks fell across the board, with Weilai Motor down 5.51%, Xiaopeng Motor down 5.69%, and Ideal Auto down 3.39%.

  In terms of economic data, the number of people who applied for unemployment benefits for the first time in the United States was 222,000 in the week of November 27, and is expected to be 240,000; the number of people who continued to apply for unemployment benefits that week is 1.956 million, which is expected to be 2.003 million.

  In European stock markets, the London Stock Market "Financial Times" average price index of 100 stocks closed at 7129.21 points, down 39.47 points or 0.55% from the previous trading day.

The CAC40 index of the Paris stock market in France closed at 6795.75 points, down 86.12 points or 1.25% from the previous trading day.

The DAX index on the Frankfurt stock market in Germany closed at 15,263.11 points, a decrease of 209.56 points or 1.35% from the previous trading day.

  In terms of international oil prices, WTI January crude oil futures closed up 0.93 US dollars, or 1.42%, to 66.50 US dollars per barrel.

Brent's February crude oil futures closed up 0.80 US dollars, or 1.16%, to 69.67 US dollars per barrel.

  In terms of international gold prices, the most active February 2022 gold futures price on the New York Mercantile Exchange gold futures market fell 21.6 US dollars from the previous trading day to close at 1762.7 US dollars per ounce, a drop of 1.21%.

  As for the US dollar index, as of the end of the New York trading session, the US dollar index, which measures the US dollar against six major currencies, rose 0.13% to 96.1540.
