Tuesday, December 7 in the morning, the city of perfumes should be particularly agitated.
The prefecture of the Alpes-Maritimes announces this Friday that the company from Grasse Centipharm will be the scene of a "civil security exercise" around the simulation of a "chemical accident".
The procedure scheduled between 9:30 am and 11:30 am should mobilize around a hundred people including members of the emergency services.
This exercise, organized on the Chemin de la Madeleine on this industrial site classified as “Seveso Seuil Bas”, “is part of a cycle of regular training in crisis management”, state the state services.
The prefecture also warns that warning sirens will sound and that "residents may witness unusual movements such as large groups of police forces".
It is therefore requested not to call the emergency services so as not to overcrowd them unnecessarily.
A public information unit, reachable on 09 70 80 90 40, will be specially activated throughout this exercise.
