Île-de-France Mobilités launched this Tuesday an online consultation operation about the look of the trains of the future line 18 of the Paris metro.

The latter is part of the Grand Paris Express network and will serve the Hauts-de-Seine in particular via stations in Nanterre, Rueil-Malmaison and Antony.

The public will be able to give their opinion until December 15, the public establishment said in a tweet on Tuesday.

"Discover the proposals and vote for your favorite", advises Île-de-France Mobilités on the consultation portal.

It is possible to opt for a design favoring "serene continuity", "architectural gesture" or "refined fluidity", we read on the site.

The latter offers three visuals that are not very different from the line which will link Orly (Val-de-Marne) to Versailles Chantiers (Yvelines) in 30 minutes, passing through ten stations.

The operation of these metro trains built by Alstom will be fully automated, specifies Actu Hauts-de-Seine.

They will be produced from 2024 and used the following year.

Their top speed will be 100 km / h.
