The connection between the brain and the body

Multiple sclerosis often leads to exhaustion, as the body's immune system damages the membrane surrounding the nerves, and its function is to protect them.

This damage, or erosion of the membrane, negatively affects the communication process between the brain and the rest of the body's organs.

Eventually, the nerves themselves may be damaged, which is irreversible.
