Gunma Prefecture announced on the 1st that it was confirmed that 14 new people in the prefecture were infected with the new coronavirus.
The number of infected people has doubled for two consecutive days.
The number of people confirmed to be infected in the prefecture is 16,896, of which 176 have died.
